I started my career in Fleet Street on the London Star & News Chronicle on the picture desk and soon progressed to the darkroom. In 1961 joined the East London Gazette as a photographer - 1962 back to Fleet Street as a photographer with a leading picture agency covering show biz events.

In 1964 went freelance and sold pictures & stories to National and International newspaper & magazines.
My work was mainly show biz stars and personalities both TV & films. 1979 saw a change of career as pr & managing pop stars. 1985 became Picture Editor for the Rover Group organising all their PR\ Photography and Video. In 1992 director of a video company, filming corporate & pop groups demos.
1995 took a post as a lecturer - in photography and TV production at Tile Hill Collage. Became executive Director of their live TV Station.
In 2004 back to freelancing photography and holding exhibitions of my B/W pictures taken in the 60s of stars including the Beatles, Hendrix ,Bee Gees and other icons , having the main function room named after me, the “Zygmant Suite “ in the world famous Hard Days Night Hotel, Liverpool.
October 2009 my pictures will be on exhibition at the National Portrait Gallery, London, UK
